The Kalaam of Allah: Find tranquility in it

Our Hearts are so averse and hardened towards the Qur'an, we do not find comfort in it anymore nor do we find tranquility within its pages.

Nor do we even strive to look for solace within its covers.

Allah ﷻ has sent down the Qur'an as a Noor, and a Shifa for the righteous and the repenters.

Yet we find that we have become disconnected from the Kalam of Allah ﷻ,

Rather than seeking solace from the Book of Allah ﷻ.

We turn to the Qur'an and listen to the Ruqyah of Shaytaan.

Music.

We turn to Nasheeds rather than the Qur'an.

We turn to inspirational speakers rather than Qur'an.

We turn to anything and everything before the Qur'an, and finally when nothing works we turn to the Kalam of Allah ﷻ.

Reflect and ask yourselves, how many times have you turned away from the Qur'an being recited, only to start playing music or a Nasheed? 

سبحان الله

It is something we must change,

Our incorruptible source of wisdom has been handed to us.

Along with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to show us how it is done.

Turn back to Allah ﷻ before you return to Him!

Recite the Book of Allah ﷻ!

Allah ﷻ mentions the character of the true believers in Surah Al-Anfal:

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتۡهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely -

[8:2]

Ya Ibn Adam! The Kalam of Allah is meant to guide you and make you understand your purpose and how to live your life.

How can you expect guidance and goodness if you cannot pick it up!

Shaytaan distracts you.

May Allah ﷻ guide us, make the Qur'an a part of our hearts and make us among those who are the people of the Qur'an.
